Introduction – Liberia Tech Summit 2025

The Government of Liberia, through the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications (MOPT) and the Liberia Telecommunications Authority (LTA), with support from UNDP and Ducor Energy Technology Solutions, successfully hosted a landmark 2-day Technology Summit on July 21–22, 2025. The event brought together key stakeholders from across the public and private sectors to engage in critical dialogue aimed at advancing innovation, entrepreneurship, and digital economic transformation in Liberia. It served as a strategic platform to gather input for finalizing the country’s National ICT Policy and to introduce the National Digital Strategy — a bold initiative designed to position Liberia as a rising tech and financial hub in West Africa.
